HOW TO MEASURE
MEASUREMENT CHART
Keep the measurement tape comfortable snug, but not tight. Our
tailors will make the clothes so that they fit to your body.
If it is possible please attach a photo of yourself. (Full
front, full back & full sideways).
Neck

- Wrap the measuring tape around your neck (under the Adam's
apple) by inserting a finger between the tape and
your neck.
- The tape shouldn't feel tight around your neck.
Jacket/Shirt/Coat/Vest Length

- Pop up your Collar.
- Place measuring tape where shoulder and neck seams meet.
- Measure straight down to the thumb joint or required length.
Vest Back Length

-Measure from the bottom of your shirt collar to below your
belt line.
Chest

- Place the measuring tape under your arm, under the armpits,
around the widest part of your chest.
- Take a breath (do not over inflate) and place a finger
between the tape and the chest.
- This measurement is a body measurement and there will be an
allowance added to it to make your garment. The
allowance will be added according to the fit that you choose.
Stomach

- Measure around the widest part of your stomach.
- Normally around the belly, place 1 finger between the tape
and stomach.
Hips

- Measure around the widest part of your hips.
- Place one finger between the tape and the hips.
- Make sure your pockets are empty.
Shoulders

- Wear a well fitted shirt.
- Place the measuring tape where the shoulder naturally begins
and measure straight across to the other side.
- This measurement should be according to the desired width of
the shoulders.
Sleeves

- Place the measuring tape where the arm and shoulder meet on
a well fitted shirt.
or where the shoulder naturally begins or where you measured
the shoulder.
- Measure straight to the elbow and down to the desired
sleeve length.
Biceps

- Measure around the widest part of your bicep
- Leave room for one finger.
Wrist

- Measure around the wrist bone.
- Leave room for one finger
Waist

- Place the tape around just inside where you like to wear the
top of your trousers.
- Do not make the measure too tight and leave room for one
finger.
- It is common for this measure to be a few inches different
from the label inside your pants.
Crutch

- Place the tape on the top point where you measured your
desired waistline.
- Follow the crutch line, between your legs to the top of the
waistline on the back side.
Pant/Shorts Length

- Place the tape on the top point where you measured your
waistline.
- Measure straight down, without bending, to the desired
length keeping in mind the shoes you will be wearing.
Thigh

- Empty your pockets & measure around the widest part of your
thigh to desired width.
Ankle/Cuff

- Measure at the ankle to desired width.
